Old Town Farmers' Market Christmas Gifts & Spirit Galore Camila Aguirre - oldtownfm.com December 08, 2010
Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - The Old Town Farmer's Market has decked the halls for Christmas, so come out and enjoy the excitement. On December 11th and 18th, check out the remarkable variety of gifts while enjoying Christmas music and carolers, and remember to cast your vote in the contest for the best decorated table. Come and enjoy the unique sights and sounds of Christmas shopping in the palm-studded courtyard.
Gift ideas are practically endless: hand-crafted soaps and body products, gourmet chocolates, vintage silver spoon jewelry, exquisite leather bags, aprons for your favorite chef, beaded necklaces, hand-made Christmas cards and lots of other surprises.
If gift baskets are on your list, you can fill them with the freshest and finest fruits and vegetables, herbs and plants, preserves, coffee, organic products, pastas, sauces and baked goods. Browse the colorful tables showcasing unique homemade products all fresh from the studio, oven or field.
There might not be any snow on the ground here in Puerto Vallarta, but the Christmas spirit will be shining. Be sure and bring an appetite and take a break from shopping to enjoy a fabulous lunch of gourmet tamales, Thai and Italian food or freshly made sandwiches.
The Market will be closed December 25th, but re-opens on January 1st.
Join us every Saturday from 10 to 2 pm at the Paradise Community Center, located at Pulpito #127 between Amapas and Olas Altas on the south side, as Puerto Vallarta comes alive with the sights and smells of a good old fashioned farmers market. (Market Season: 1st Saturday in November until last Saturday in July) For updated products, event announcements and news, look for us on Facebook or visit OldTownFM.com.
