President Calderón and Wife Host Children's Christmas Party Suzanne Stephens Waller - Presidencia de la República go to original December 25, 2010
| (Presidencia de la República) | | Mexico City - President Felipe Calderón and his wife, Margarita Zavala, President of the National DIF, celebrated with over eight hundred children from daycare centers, orphanages and public and private welfare centers at the traditional President's Christmas party in the Hondonada at the official Los Pinos residence.
President Calderón and his wife told the children of their pleasure at sharing these moments that are so special for Mexican families, since they provide an occasion to confirm the love, good will and unity that exists among Mexicans.
The President hailed the effort and dedication of social organizations, the DIF, teachers, parents and assistants who provide love and attention for the children that most need it.
The over eight hundred children that attended the party were drawn from the Fundación Hogar Dulce Hogar I.A.P.; Primaria Benito Juárez; Albergues Indígenas de Oaxaca: Ayutla, Cuicatlán, Nochixtlán, Tlacolula y Tlaxiaco; Aquí Nadie Se Rinde, A.C.; Hogares Providencia I.A.P.; Asilo Primavera I.A.P.; Casa Hogar Alegría I.A.P.; Aldeas Infantiles SOS; Justicia y Amor, A.C.; Promoción y Acción Comunitaria I.A.P.; Fundación José María Álvarez, A.C.; CRIT Neza; Fundación Pasos; Instituto Mexicano de Audición y Lenguaje, A.C. and Jardín Mágico.
