This Christmas, instead of buying toys for your kids, why not consider what the addition of a cat or kitten would do for your family? PuRR Project, formerly Pet Heaven, has oodles of adorable felines patiently awaiting their 'Forever Homes' - and kittens make the puRRfect gift!

If your children are old enough to learn a little responsibility, giving them a cat or kitten might be the purr-fect solution, and a gift that enriches your family life for years to come.

Writing letters to Santa Claus has been a Christmas tradition for children around the world - especially those wishing for that special companion that brings such great joy throughout the year. Like this one from Adam Myska Martin, nephew of Nicole Martin, who, as one of PuRR Projects active volunteers, has 17 rescue cats:

Dear Santa,

This Christmas I want a cat. Toys break + cats live a long time. My aunt has cats and I love going to her house to play with them.

I want my own cat that is very fluffi and cute and can sleep on my bed. Please can I have a cat, Santa?

I also want a cat because my mom wen she is on the fone lots she doesn't talk to me. I could talk with my cat.

I'll call him Rudof

Santa, do you want a cat?

Adam

Purr Project is a Non-Profit shelter in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico that provides homeless cats and kittens a recuperative stay with the ultimate goal to adopt them out to loving homes. All of our residents have been sterilized, vaccinated and are disease free. We accomplish this through our own efforts as well as collaboratively with other animal welfare organizations. Both monetary donations as well as donations of dry cat food are most welcome – and much appreciated. For more information, visit PurrProject.com.
