Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - It takes more than dedication to work at the same place for around 30 years. Javier Gomez, otherwise known as 'Capi,' says there is nothing better than enjoying your job and his fans appreciate the attitude while visiting Daiquiri Dick's Restaurant in Puerto Vallarta.

"The personal service you always get is really wonderful," says Sue MacGregor, a Capi fan, "My husband come here three or four days a week and we started talking with him about all kinds of things, and so we have become close and he is just wonderful and we think of everyone here as a friend."

Capi's career at Daiquiri Dick's restaurant spans more than two decades and he has witnessed its evolution. He has trained all of the waiters and continues to work closely with management, always coming up with new ideas about improving the service.

"I love the ambiance, the location, the owners are like family," says Francisco Javier "Capi" Gomez, head waiter, "Plus I know and enjoy visiting with all the clients, it has become a relationship with friendship and trust and since I know most of the clientele the staff is able to provide better service and it is because of that client relationship we can provide the best dining experience in the area and I guarantee that."

Overall the current job market does not promote longevity or loyalty. Management is grateful for Capi's perseverance in a field where the turn-over is relatively high.

"It's been a real privilege to work with Capi all these years," says Tari Bowman, Owner, "He brings a degree of professionalism and fun to the job."
