Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - One of the world's most beloved cruise lines has decided that Puerto Vallarta and the Mexican Riviera is still an attractive destination for adults and children.
The cruise ship "Disney Wonder," a boat distinguished by its sophisticated and modern design, was built especially for families. Among its features is that this ship has 11 decks with a total length of 964 meters and has the capacity to comfortably accommodate 2,700 passengers, along with 950 crew members and performers.
The ship will sail from the Port of Los Angeles, California, on Sunday, September 25th, and after two days in open water will dock in Puerto Vallarta every Wednesday from September 28, 2011 to April of 2012.
Last year, the Disney cruise visited Puerto Vallarta for 13 weeks until last January, when the cruise paused with the intention of returning this September and restarting their season.
The arrival of Disney Wonder is a sign of returning confidence for cruise lines to return to Puerto Vallarta. Captain Henry Andersson said that since the first time he brought the Disney Wonder to Puerto Vallarta, the city was found to be a safe haven for passengers.
