Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - Construction of Puerto Vallarta's second tunnel road, run by the Ministry of Communications and Transport, is coming along nicely. Currently the contractor is in the process of excavating and installing the steel structures that will support the new tunnel.
This was confirmed by Mayor Salvador Gonzalez Resendiz, who on Tuesday made a supervisory visit to monitor the progress. The Mayor met with contractors at the tunnel to inspect the work being done around the electrical substation, which was performed by Vision Electric Company.
This work is being carried out with funds from the Federal Government, an investment of $150 million pesos. After several years of waiting, the current City Hall administration finally got approval for the implementation of this important project.
