Mexico - The Association of Banks of Mexico (ABM) announced that banks will be closed Thursday through Sunday, April 5th - 8th, because of Semana Santa, Easter Holidays.
The ABM said that while the banks will be closed, telephone banking, Internet banking and its 36,000 ATMs would be available. It also stated that according to the Law for Transparency and Regulation of Financial Services if the deadline for a payment falls on a day when the banks are closed, payment may be made the next business day.
