Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico - With the goal of making the services offered by the Directorate General de Padrón y Licencias (the city's Licensing and Registration Department) more accessible to the public, a service module was installed at Hidalgo Park yesterday. The booth will be manned once a week, making it easier for all citizens to obtain any paperwork they may need from this municipal agency.
Iris Ulloa Godinez, who is in charge of Padrón and Licensing, said, "on this site, you can perform all kinds of procedures, from the endorsement of licenses and permits, to obtaining information on the status of establishments. What we are seeking to do is 'make it easier for citizens to access Padron and Licenses,' and in this case, it is no longer necessary to go to the Municipal Administrative Unit (UMA) to receive service."
She explained that the Hidalgo Park module will be staffed every Wednesday from 8:30 am to 2 pm. In addition, personnel from Inspection and Regulations (Reglamentos), Urban Planning, Civil Protection, Public Safety, and the Municipal Treasury "which are the units that have the most proximity to Register and Licenses," will be on hand to streamline the services offered to all of the people of Vallarta.
