Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - At the request of City Officials to allow more people to enjoy this year's glittery, bead-hurling Mardi Gras parade this Tuesday, March 4th at 9 pm, Carnaval festivities will now kick-off in front of the Sheraton Hotel and travel south to the Malecón, through "Old Town" and wind up on Olas Altas and Rudolfo Gomez.
All parade entrants are now asked to 'stage' their vehicles, floats and participants on the entrance road in front of the Sheraton Hotel by 7:30 pm. For those entries concerned about the additional length of the parade, provisions have been made to have those participants join us at Parque Hidalgo.
Over 10,000 spectators are expected to view the parade and join Andales, ALAS Escuela de Canto, PVRPV.com, Reinas Bar, The Dog House, Gay Guide Vallarta, Casa Isabel, INTERCAM, Bar Frida, SETAC, Casa Cupula, ACT II, Nacho Daddy, The Palm Cabaret, The Red Room Cabaret, Paco's Ranch, Art Vallarta, Apache's/Apache's Bistro, Mara Diaz Gallery, Banderas Soap Blends, Salud, RK Supplement, the Puerto Vallarta Men's Chorus, Ángeles en Libertad, International Friendship Club and others in the fun and frivolity.
Note: There's still time to enter the parade! For more information, visit CarnavalVallarta.com.
