Free Internet on Puerto Vallarta Malecón & Public Plazas

July 28, 2014

According to Telecable general manager, Ing. Manuel González Farrera, the free Internet service, available in public spaces, will promote Puerto Vallarta's points of interest and attractions on its 'Welcome' page.

Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico - As part of Mayor Ramón Guerrero Martínez's strategy to make it easier for Puerto Vallarta residents and visitors to discover all of the benefits that this resort destination offers, Telecable has installed free Internet access in many of the city's public areas.

In an interview, the general manager of the cable television company, Ing. Manuel González Farrera, highlighted the activities that place this port city at the forefront of communication technologies, specifically offering the public free Internet service that advertises the destination on its Welcome page.

"Through this free service, we will be promoting Puerto Vallarta's points of interest, attractions and services to both tourists and residents of the municipality," said González Farrera, who runs Telecable, the number one cable company in this corner of Jalisco.

To ensure the quality and efficiency of the free Internet service in public spaces, which include the Malecón and public plazas as well as sports & recreation and other tourist areas, the access is available via Telecable's equipment and their 100Mbps "Unity" service.

In Puerto Vallarta, Telecable stands out by providing unrivaled telephone, Internet, and television services. Now, any citizen who walks through these public areas will also enjoy the full and free unlimited 'Unity' internet service, a result of agreements reached between Mayor Ramón Guerrero Martínez and Telecable CEO, Manuel González Farrera.
