Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - In addition to other annual festivities that take place in Puerto Vallarta during the month of May - like the anniversary of the city's founding, the Bugambilia Festival, and Vallarta Pride - Vallarta Restaurant Week encourages visitors to choose the month of May as an attractive time of year to explore Banderas Bay.

Since its launch by Vallarta Lifestyles magazine in 2005, Vallarta Restaurant Week has captured the hearts and palates of many tourists that choose to visit the Banderas Bay region during the last two weeks of May. It's also a local favorite, since it gives residents the opportunity to treat themselves to fabulous meals at discounted prices.

From May 15-31, Vallarta Restaurant Week will celebrate its 11th year as one of Puerto Vallarta’s most important culinary events. And with 35 of the Banderas Bay area's most recognized restaurants offering innovative three-course menus, with three options available for each course at fixed prices of either $199 or $299 pesos, (not including beverages or gratuities,) this year's festival promises some memorable dining experiences.

This year there are six restaurants participating for the first time: Añejo Limón, Di Vino Dante, La Vaca Argentina, Las Adelitas, Pancho Villa Burger and Señor Frog's. Many venues will also be featuring live entertainment to enhance your dining pleasure.
