Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico - The streets of the Zona Romantica in Puerto Vallarta are getting cooler and busier, and the folks at Nacho Daddy welcome locals and visitors alike into the restaurant/bar's friendly atmosphere.
Owners Sean Moore and Tammy Prust are excited to greet new and returning patrons. "We're going to have more fun than humans are allowed to have," Moore said.
Swing by and check out the specials board, updated daily, for events happening that day at Nacho Daddy, at 287 Basilio Badillo. A different lunch special is served from 11 am to 3 pm, and Happy Hour happens every day from 4-6 pm.
The most dramatic news at Nacho Daddy is the unveiling of the remodel that's been going on all Summer. The upstairs has a new layout and stage for enjoying live music at night and a variety of shows from The Boutique Dinner Theatre.
Nacho Daddy's upstairs will have upgraded features and better air conditioning for cooling patrons down. That's where live music for dancing, with no cover charge, is offered most nights of the week, starting at 8:30 pm.
On Friday nights, start the weekend off with some gritty blues favorites by the Texas Embassy Blues Band, fronted by Nacho Daddy's owner, Sean Moore.
Saturday night showcases rockin' hits of yesteryear by The Zippers, led by Sylvie Scopazzo and her band.
The oh-so-danceable Gecko Band is also in the line-up, Monday nights.
Thursday nights, enjoy soulful and fun-loving songs by Chris Kenny, Puerto Vallarta's popular guitar player and songstress, and her band.
Nacho Daddy is known for being a surefire place to let loose with your gang - or, pull up a bar stool, strike up a conversation, and make some interesting new friends. Nacho Daddy is also a long-time supporter of various local non-profits.
The Boutique Dinner Theatre, which hosts plays and other performances upstairs during high-season, will unveil its complete season schedule soon. Stay tuned for the announcement of The Boutique's Grand Opening and Ribbon-Cutting, which will feature scenes and songs from upcoming shows. Quality dinners will be served at 5 pm, with the shows at 6 pm.
Here are a few highlights:
