New Puerto Vallarta Episode of 'House Hunters International' Airs Tonight

Tune in to HGTV USA this Friday and Saturday (September 23rd and 24th, 2016) for the premiere of House Hunters International's latest episode featuring Puerto Vallarta. This time, Timothy Real Estate Group agent Taniel Chemsian ventures out with fashion designed Andrew Christian, who is looking for a unique home to escape to from his hectic work schedule back in the States. The episode synopsis on HGTV's website puts it like this: Andrew Christian's life as a fashion designer in Los Angeles is fast-paced and non-stop. He's learned that getting out of the country is a great stress reliever, so he's ready to buy a second home in his favorite escape of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Andrew wants a large, ultra-modern space in Old Town, but ultra-modern and Old Town don't necessarily go together. He's used to getting what he wants, so compromise on space, style, or location, in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, is going to be hard. This latest Puerto Vallarta episode of 'House Hunters International' premieres on HGTV USA at 10:30 pm | 9:30 Central on Friday, September 23 and at 1:30 am | 12:30 Central on Saturday, September 24th. Roger Waters to Perform Free Concert in Mexico City's Zocalo

Seems that performing at Mexico City's El Foro Sol on September 28 & 29 is not enough for Roger Waters. On Tuesday, the Legendary Rocker announced via Twitter that he'll be playing The Best of Pink Floyd at a free concert in Mexico City's Zocalo on October 1st at 8:00 pm. It has been four years since the British musician's last visit to Mexico, but now the Pink Floyd co-founder is returning to the country with his 2016 "The Wall" tour. After performing the free concert, sponsored in part by the Mexico City government and AT&T, Waters will head out to the Desert Trip Music Festival in Indio, California, where he will share the stage with The Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Bob Dylan, Neil Young and The Who.

USCGC Steadfast Crew Lends Corazán de Niña a Hand

The U.S. Coast Guard cutter Steadfast returned to it's home port in Astoria, Oregon last week after a two-month counter narcotics patrol off the West Coast. While on patrol, the 210-foot cutter stopped in Puerto Vallarta and Tapachula, Mexico, where the Steadfast crew took part in community relations events. In Puerto Vallarta, 30 crew and members of the PV Navy League painted living spaces, planted a garden, and generally cleaned up Corazán de Niña, a shelter for at-risk children in Puerto Vallarta. Children at the shelter also got to take a tour of the Steadfast. In Tapachula, Steadfast crew members worked together with the U.S. Embassy Mexico City's Office of Defense Cooperation and the U.S. Northern Command Humanitarian Assistance Program to improve dormitory spaces at a cancer shelter run by the Mexican National System for Integral Family Development in Tapachula. The regional hospital treats patients who travel to the facility from the states of Chiapas and Tabasco.
