Los Muertos Brewing Company's 5th Annual Fiesta en La Calle This Saturday
Since the 'fun never dies' in Puerto Vallarta, Los Muertos Brewing (Calle Lázaro Cárdenas #302) will host their annual Fiesta en la Calle street party from 2-11 pm on Saturday, November 4. Come out and enjoy a frightfully fun party on the street with live entertainment that starts at 2 pm with a Folkloric dance performance by Ballet Vallarta Azteca. At 4:00 pm, The Texas Embassy Blues Band will get the party rocking. They'll be followed by Bad Weathers at 5:30 pm, Funk Schwa at 7:00 pm and The Roxy Rockhouse Band at 8:30 pm. At 10:00, Mariachi Nuevo Continental will close out the evening in true Mexican Style! Entrance is free. Food, beverages and craft beers will be available for purchase at Los Muertos Brewing Company.
CUCosta to Host Puerto Vallarta's First International Sculptors Forum
From November 13 to 25, El Centro Universitario de la Costa (CUCosta) will host Puerto Vallarta's first International Sculptors Forum, turning the city into a "massive sculptural workshop." Under the curatorship of sculptor and renowned academic Kemal Tufan of the University of Marmara, eleven prestigious international sculptors from Germany, Egypt, Spain, Greece, Holland, Hungary, Iran, Mexico, Peru, Taiwan and Turkey, will create a large format sculptural project in Puerto Vallarta with the assistance of a group of CUCosta Visual Arts Degree students. At the end of the event, seven sculptures will be donated to the city to be installed in some of the most popular neighborhoods of Puerto Vallarta. Upon receiving the news, Mayor Arturo Dávalos Peña said that the city is proud to host this important sculpture forum, which will enrich the urban, artistic and cultural heritage of Vallarta.
