Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - Thanks to the Puerto Vallarta's spectacular natural attractions, together with the Tourism Trust's ongoing promotional efforts, Puerto Rican singer Ricky Martin has agreed to shoot his next music video here in the Banderas Bay region.
Shortly before his concert last month, which packed the Mexico City Zócalo with more than 100,000 fans, the singer praised the Mexican people's strength in the face of adversity. (His concert had originally been scheduled for September 20, but due to the devastating earthquake that struck Mexico on September 19, it had been postponed "until further notice.")
And not only did he fulfill his promise to return, but he made another at the end of his stellar performance: that he would be returning to Mexico in 2018. "I will practically start next year here in Mexico," Martin said. When the crowd's roar of approval died down, he went on to say that he would be coming to Puerto Vallarta in early January to record a new music video, because "this wonderful land has to be seen by everyone."
Since Ricky Martin and his partner, Jwan Yosef, enjoyed a few days of vacation here after concluding his 'One World Tour' last December, the Puerto Rican singer is familiar with all of the attractions in Puerto Vallarta and has already decided that his music video will be filmed in the city's historic center, along the Malecón and on the beautiful beaches of this region of the Mexican Pacific.
