Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - The Boutique Dinner Theater will host TED-Type Talks every Tuesday from 11 am to 1 pm beginning November 20 and continuing throughout the 2018-2019 season. Each week, an "interesting person" living in Puerto Vallarta will share his or her expertise and insights, on a variety of socially relevant topics.

Paco Ojeda, "On Curiosity, Music and Mindfulness," will kick off the series on Nov. 20th.

A Puerto Vallarta writer and musicologist, Paco Ojeda believes we can enrich our everyday lives by being curious. He is a skilled storyteller who will guide us on an anecdotal ride that encourage us to step beyond our comfort zones to develop our curious sides.

Originally from Monterrey, Mexico, Ojeda moved to Mexico City as a teenager to study at the National Conservatory of Music. He earned a bachelor's degree in Music Production and Engineering from the Berklee College of Music, and studied further at the New England Conservatory. Audience members will have the opportunity to ask questions, and enjoy an interactive session following his presentation.

Tickets cost $250 pesos each. While tickets may be remaining at the door for presentations, some ticket-seekers had to be turned away last year. Advance ticket purchases are recommended, from btpv.org, or at the box office.

Ojeda has also moved his popular "Dinner and a Movie" evenings to The Boutique this season, and will present The Devil Wears Prada on November 19 at 5:00 pm. "Dinner and a Movie" evenings will continue on Monday nights through December 10. Tickets cost $225 pesos and are available on The Boutique's website via PayPal.

Upcoming "TED-Type Talk Tuesday" Speakers:

Transformational coach Nathan Segal is the speaker on Nov.ember 27. "How to Overcome Self-Sabotage" will be his topic.

On December 4, a husband-and-wife team of immigration facilitators will be the speakers. Bill and Amy Triplett will share "Myths and Truths About Residency in Mexico."

"Intelligent Movement Forever" will be presented by Via Anderson on December 11.

Each session includes opportunities for the audience to ask questions, and join in the discussions. Food and drinks from the extensive - and reasonably priced! - menu at Nacho Daddy are available to order. All events are held at The Boutique Community Theatre, located upstairs at Nacho Daddy, Basilio Badillo 287 on the south side of Puerto Vallarta.
