Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - From May 6-10, 2019 Puerto Vallarta will host the 17th International Fireworks Symposium, a world gathering of the pyrotechnic industry. This is the most important event of the Pyrotechnic industry in Mexico, and everyone is invited!
This is the second time the symposium has been held here in Puerto Vallarta. The 11th International Symposium of Fireworks was held here from April 20-24, 2009, with 350 experts from 33 countries participating.
According to Fred Wade, the coordinator of the 2009 event, the 11th edition was the largest international gathering of the pyrotechnic industry since it's inception in Montreal in 1992.
In this 17th edition, forty internationally famous fireworks manufacturers and technicians will gather at the Puerto Vallarta Sheraton Buganvilias Resort and Convention Center to exchange the latest technologies and ideas with other members of the pyrotechnic industry.
The fireworks symposium also gives pyrotechnical showmen the chance to showcase their various disciplines and specialties. Various product demonstrations and presentations will be open to the public during the event, including traditional displays evoking Mexican fiestas and folklore presented by fireworks companies from several states in Mexico, including Jalisco, Oaxaca and Mexico D.F., among others.
Fireworks shows will be held on the Malecón every night, except Wednesday, when Pirotecnia El Caperuzo, Tultepec, Estado de México will present a daylight pyrotechnics display - all of which are free and open to the public.
