Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - Aeromar, the Mexico-based airline that started offering direct flights from Mexico City to Puerto Vallarta for the summer vacation season, has announced that, due to customer demand, in November they'll be increasing frequencies from the capital city to this popular beach destination for the winter holiday season.
Demonstrating that Puerto Vallarta continues to be a very attractive tourist destination for the domestic market, the route, which began with a frequency of four days a week on June 13, was increased to five flights a week for the months of July and August - and, come November, it will be offered daily with two flights a day from Thursday to Sunday during that month.
Aeromar executives confirmed the announcement, saying that the increase in flights is due to the growing demand for connectivity from Mexico City to Puerto Vallarta. "With this route, Aeromar offers our customers more flight options, and, with a capacity for 72 passengers, our modern ATR 72-600 aircraft provide the highest standards of safety and comfort. In this way, we confirm the commitment we made 31 years ago of offering the best flying experience on board the most modern air fleet in the market."
"The objective of this route," said its managers, "is to strengthen connectivity from Mexico City to one of the most beautiful destinations on the Pacific Ocean, and give customers looking to enjoy one of the emblematic regions of the country more travel options."
Recognized internationally for its historic center with its iconic landmarks, such as the Church of Our Lady of Guadalupe, and the sculpture-lined Malecón; activities for all tastes and ages; 26 miles of sandy beaches, and its privileged location on one of the most beautiful bays in the world, Puerto Vallarta is a tourist destination like no other.
