Mexico's 'Ley Seca' Will Not be Enforced in Puerto Vallarta

The city of Puerto Vallarta has officially announced that it will not implement the temporary ban on the sale of alcoholic beverages, known as 'La Ley Seca,' in the 48 hours surrounding the 2018 elections on July 1. All establishments selling alcohol will be allowed to operate normally.

Thirty of 150 new desk purchased for the Ignacio L. Vallarta Elementary School, courtesy of Oak Grove Illinois District 68 Superintendent Lonny Lemon's GoFundMe campaign, were delivered on Tuesday. The remaining 120 arrive Monday and Lemon plans to be there to help assemble them.
