Now that the holiday festivities are winding down, we at Cornerstone are preparing some great programs for the month of January. Don't miss out on all of the great things we have planned to help you have a healthy and happy 2007!

WHAT'S MY TYPE?
No, this is not a new singles club! Do you know what your blood type is? This is very important information, especially when there is a call for blood donations. Join us to find out your type on Tuesday, January 9th, 2007 from 10 am-2 pm in the Hospital Cornerstone Meeting Room and you'll receive a laminated card for your wallet with your blood type and emergency information. $100 pesos
WISE WOMEN OF VALLARTA
We are pleased to announce this exciting new Speakers Program! Join us on a bi-monthly basis for a wide variety of topics. Along with Woman Extraordinaire, Darla Fowler, we have put our heads together and come up with some ideas for speakers that will be fascinating for us "Wise Women" in Vallarta.
To kick off 2007, we will have Len of blu Salon speaking on The Evolution of Beauty in 2007. Anyone who knows Len, knows that whatever he talks about will be fabulous - so join us on Wednesday, January 10th from 10 am to 12 noon in the Hospital Cornerstone Meeting Room.
Then, on Wednesday, January 24th, Darla Fowler will be speaking to the "Wise Women" of Vallarta, presenting her topic, "A New Beginning, Fresh Ideas for a Better You." Once again, the meeting will be held in the Hospital Cornerstone Meeting Room from 10 am to 12 noon.

MEN'S HEALTH TALK
(or How to Keep Your Testicles Happy)
Stop by the Hospital Cornerstone Meeting Room on Wednesday, January 17 at 7 pm to hear Dr. Pedro Lopez Cueto speak on a very important topic for men - Prostate Health. Dr Lopez Cueto is a well known, well-respected urologist in our area, and one of only four physicians in North and South America that have the Green Light Laser treatment for prostate problems. No Charge.
PREPARING FOR MEDICAL EMERGENCY
No, this is not how to call an ambulance. This is preparation BEFORE an emergency arises! Register with Hospital Cornerstone prior to a medical emergency. If you had a medical emergency, who would we call? Who is your personal physician? Do you have allergies? What type of insurance do you have? We will gather all of your basic information, keep it on record in case the need arises. And if you are from the US, you can register with the American Consulate at the same time!
This is a very important task - none of us want to think about this type of emergency, but by having this information known ahead of time, it can save a lot of time and stress for those involved.
Tuesday, January 23rd - 10 am to 5 pm
Wednesday, January 24th - 10 am to 5 pm
