 | | The White House leaders use the phrase 'nuclear holocaust' as a pretext to beat the drums of war. - Iran Embassy, Mexico | | | The Islamic Republic of Iran Embassy in Mexico has strongly criticized the United States' unfounded allegations and lies against Tehran.
The embassy issued a statement saying the White House leaders use the phrase 'nuclear holocaust' as a pretext to beat the drums of war.
The statement added the recent remarks made by Director-General of the International Atomic Energy Agency Mohammad ElBaradei were 'vital and reliable' for international circles.
ElBaradei reported that no evidence has been found to indicate that Iran is moving towards nuclear bombs.
The term 'nuclear holocaust' in fact applies to the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, it said, adding the US is proud of possessing thousands of atomic bombs that can cause holocausts which will incinerate all humans.
Peoples across the world remember that the US has used the search for weapons of mass destruction as a pretext to launch aggression in Iraq. They know that the US allegations against Iran are all lies, the embassy stated.
It noted that the IAEA confirmation of finding no evidence of Iran's diversion of peaceful nuclear activities indicates a bitter fact: Washington must presently be regarded as a danger to international peace, as it resorts to lies, military action and threats against independent countries.
The statement called on the Mexican mass media to not be deceived by the psychological warfare of the US, aimed at waging World War III. Mexico's mass media are called upon to do all in their power to prevent a new war, it added.
It stressed that Iran has no intension of producing or using nuclear weapons, saying the US military doctrine legalizes the use of nuclear weapons against countries which possess no such weapons.
Washington has threatened Iran with a nuclear holocaust. But the Iranian nation has no fear of threats and will defend itself against any aggression, it added.
Iran stresses its inalienable nuclear right based on Non-Proliferation Treaty regulations, the embassy said, adding that Tehran will never accept a scientific apartheid imposed by the US. |
