Experts in Latin America Invited to Write on Information Access ijnet go to original
Journalists who are experts in Latin America are invited to participate in the third edition of Sunshine Week, an initiative of U.S. media outlets led by the American Society of Newspaper Editors. Submission deadline: February 29.
The goal of Sunshine Week is to stimulate citizen dialogue on the importance of an open government and the right to know. Participants can send editorials, essays or articles related to information access, transparency and similar topics. Their contributions will be published in the Sunshine Week portal and will be available for reproduction by the media that participate in this initiative.
Articles must have between 500 and 750 words, be in Spanish or English and in Word format. The Mexican version of the event, Mιxico Abierto, will take place in the week of September 28.
