Did the Canadian Government Setup Obama Campaign?

This of course is an ethics issue as Hillary Clinton walked away with the Ohio Primary.
Many Americans have been adversely affected by NAFTA but none as much as in the Industrial belt of which Ohio was a leading member. The issue came to light just in time for a Clinton victory when the news was leaked that Obama´s top economic advisor Austan Goolsbee was contacted by the Ambassador Michael Wilson of Canada.
Professor Goolsbee met with Canadian officials and spoke about the concerns they had. He told them that Sen. Obama´s wish was to strengthen yet clarify the language on labor mobility and environmental issues as an attempt to establish these core principles of the agreement. This of course is what the Obama campaign tells the American public.
Yet a Canadian government memo fell into the hands of the Associated Press (AP). This gave the appearance that Sen. Obama was in fact deceiving the voters of Ohio and America. The economic advisors of any candidate meat and discuss issues with others daily without the knowledge of said campaign. After all Goolsbee only reiterated Obama´s stance on NAFTA. He never claimed that he would toss it out or make it a useless document.
What Americans must ask is did the Canadian government help setup Obama for this Ohio defeat? There is a most powerful man in Canada who is a friend and partner of Bill Clinton. His name is Frank Giustra who has many business interests including Mining, Banking, Finance, and Entertainment. Being one of Canada´s wealthiest and most influential men he has the power to make many things happen.
Clinton Giustra Sustainable Growth Initiative (CGSGI) a partnership between the Clinton´s and this wealthy Canadian is of course is a front for this very rich group that seeks out mining endeavors throughout the world. I should note that mining is not what you would consider a Green Industry as it is in fact anti-Green. Frank Giustra also sits on the board of the famed Clinton Foundation. The goal with the CGSGI is to eliminate poverty yet it does not deal with American poverty.
This seems apparent that the Clinton Machine may have influenced the Canadian government through Giustra to stop the Obama momentum. There is no proof that the Canadians were aware of this maneuver. Those from the Clinton White House knew full well that Hillary was very much against NAFTA at first yet fell in line. Wouldn´t she be the one you´d want to meet with? She is the one that is breaking ranks or do they already know that she has no plans to make drastic changes other than the claim of review?
The media should take a good look into this as the American voter should know just what is going on. Why shouldn´t someone look into why CGSGI also has Mexican Business Tycoon Carlos Slim as a contributor and partner in this Canada, American and Mexican partnership? "I´m thinking NAFTA" Isn´t it funny how the President that signed NAFTA into law has become partners with the wealthiest businessmen in Mexico and Canada?
Since the Clinton campaign is so close to these countries and those in influential positions why has she not attempted to change NAFTA yet? Just like with HealthCare where is the bill? Why didn´t she read the intelligence reports on Iraq? Was it another case of Hillary following others leads? The American public needs to start looking into things. Our ignorance is being used against us. Have we now become a Third World Nation that allows others to influence how we feel? |
