Mexico City - Two out of three Mexican police torture during investigation process of any criminal event, revealed a research made by the national and state commission of Human Rights.
The research revealed that the agents involved in that illegal lese majesty act belong to the federal and the local environment.
The President of the Human Rights Commission at the Federal District Emilio Alvarez said that torture has been transformed in the country when it passed from a practical policy of restriction of the opposition to a mechanism that make defendants call themselves guilty.
He said that the other phase of those acts is related to extortion and corruption.
The investigation data revealed that 76 percent of the aggressions take place during arrest, 18 percent within the police facility and 16 percent in other places.
Among the main methods of torture appeared beating with hands, foot and objects, electric shock in testicles, rectum, foots and chest.
Unfortunately those entire practices take place in front of their families, referred the commission. |
