Rev. Jackson: A progressive's voice in DC must come from a movement in the streets
Paul Jay speaks to Rev. Jesse Jackson about the Progressive Movement and President Obama. Jackson argues for a “bottom-up” stimulus package and a progressive voice in Obama’s administration. Jackson calls for all progressives to stay active and join him in the fight for comprehensive health-care reform.

Bio: Reverend Jesse Louis Jackson, Sr., Founder and President of the Rainbow/PUSH Coalition, is one of America’s civil rights, religious, and political figures. Over the past forty years he has been involved in empowerment, peace, civil rights, gender equality, and economic and social justice.
