An Open Letter to Felipe Calderon Abdul Brinson - PVNN December 26, 2009
Greetings Mr President.
I have scanned over news on the Internet and became aware of the unfortunate incident that occurred in Villahermosa, Mexico. The four suspected members of a cartel aligned hit squad have been arrested in the slaying of family members of a Mexican marine.
It was made known to me that on December 16, 2009, the Marine was hailed as a hero for dying in a raid that killed a top drug lord, and now the news has reported that the Zeta gang is responsible for the revenge upon the Marines' family.
President Calderon, I would like to say is that I am sorrowful that family members of one of your soldiers had to die. Send my remorse to the people of Villahermosa. President Calderon, the War against Drug Cartels in your country is indeed dangerous, and very complex.
I am proud of you for staying tough hearted, and being persistent in your push against Drug Cartels. I can see that this War against Drug Cartels is going to be difficult to win, or at least subdue. It was made known to me that even some officers are siding with cartel members, and that there are informants who look out for the interests of Drug lords.
President Calderon, I would like to make one thing clear to you. If you cannot stop all the Drug Cartels, then at least you will be seen as a President who tried to do what was right to better the future of the Mexican people. The people will never look down on a leader who was trying to do what is right, even if they are all doing wrong, you will still get that respect.
President Calderon, I would like for you, and your country members to stay strong, and some how, someway, the country will get through these troubling times.
I send my love to you and the people, Abdul Brinson loveuniversal(at)live.com |
