On Sunday, September 19th Nayarit Governor Ney González Sánchez will be just one of the 130,000 fans in the stands at Dallas Cowboys Stadium who, along with millions of television viewers, will witness the unveiling of the 2011 Dallas Cheerleaders Calendar, which was photographed in Riviera Nayarit last Spring.
The Dallas Cowboys is a well-known football team worldwide and has fans throughout the world. Their games are very popular and their Cheerleaders are known as "America's Sweethearts," creating a great media phenomenon.
The Riviera Nayarit logo will be utilized in a special promotional promotion that will be displayed throughout the calendar, in the stadium tunnels, around the stands, as well as via television transmissions, promoting it as the scenic backdrop for the photo layouts.
The official presentation of the calendar will be part of the program on Sunday with the football game between the Dallas Cowboys and the Chicago Bears. The Riviera Nayarit images will be projected on the large billboard screen, 160 feet wide by 72 feet high. In addition, there will be special screenings during one of the Cheerleaders' performances during the game, which will be presented by Riviera Nayarit while the logo appears on the screen and on electronic banners around the stadium.
"Supporting the Dallas Cheerleaders is a very important strategy for Riviera Nayarit, not only by presenting the Cheerleaders in Riviera Nayarit, but also because of the great advertising benefits included. Every home game at Dallas will show the advertising promotions for Riviera Nayarit that are located throughout the stadium. We will be on radio and television to millions of fans, with special programs, and in the thousands of calendars that sell," said Marc Murphy, director of the OVC Riviera Nayarit.
There are three different versions of the calendar: A 15 x 15" wall calendar; a smaller wall calendar that measures 12 x 12 inches; and a desktop calendar. All have different images and the Riviera Nayarit logo is included on the cover and also has a special mention in the credits.
This strategy has become an important asset in the attraction of tourism for Riviera Nayarit, which also contributes to the economic development of the area, as was prioritized by the Governor of the State, Ney González Sánchez.
