Calling All Writers, Readers, and Thinkers

What could be more exciting than attending a conference in beautiful Puerto Vallarta, Mexico? If you want to improve writing skills and learn how to get paid for what you create; then this conference is for you. If you want to learn about the process of how an idea turns into a short story, feature article, or novel; this conference is also for you.

The committee volunteers of the Puerto Vallarta Writers Group and Biblioteca Los Mangos are working very hard to make this an event you will remember for years to come. It may even change the way you think about reading and writing.

The 6th Annual Puerto Vallarta Writers Conference will be held February 25-27, 2011, at Los Mangos Library. The theme of the conference is "Becoming a Writer - Seriously", inspired by one of our founding members, Tom Colvin, and his popular blog.

2011 Featured Speakers & Seminar Presenters:

Each in their own way, and each very different, our presenters are first class, and have much to teach us. Here is a partial list of who will be there:

• Rick Najera - professional film and TV writer
• Susie Albin-Najera - freelance writer and editor
• Michael Bracken - creative writing, editor, and copywriter
• Sunny Frazier - author and acquisitions editor for Oak Tree Press
• Sarah Cortez - author, poet, editor
• Lisa Brackmann - author, her novel, "Rock Paper Tiger" made Amazon's 2010 best books

The list is growing, so check back often. I will have everyone's photos and biographies up on the website as quickly as possible.

The conference will conclude with a special Authors Booksigning and Book Fair on Sunday afternoon.

Early Bird registration is $100.00 per person and includes all keynote speakers and seminars. Registration will increase to $120.00 per person after January 31, 2011. We will accept US Dollars or Pesos at 13/1 (N$1300).

To register, please contact Ted Druch or Maria Ruiz, Phone: (322) 123-9249, Email: langton64(at)

Won’t you plan to come to Puerto Vallarta in February of 2011, and join us by participating in this very special event?

I personally hope to see each of you here.
