Galería 200 has the pleasure of inviting you to a night of art in benefit of Los Mangos Library. Join us on Saturday, April 12th from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. There'll be complimentary champagne and live music in the gallery's outdoor garden, where the works of two artists, Capelo and his son Javier Cruz, will be on exhibit. Other than in museums and in his own Guanajuato galleries, Capelo's work is difficult to find, and now you can own one, knowing that 15% of the sales will be donated to Los Mangos Library. Come out and support the Puerto Vallarta Public Library. As always, we would like to remind you that Biblioteca Los Mangos is not "just a library," it is a cultural and learning center. Music, culture and art all go hand in hand with literature and reading. As a Non-Profit Organization, Los Mangos Library and Cultural Center is a gift to everyone of all ages in Puerto Vallarta, and relies on donors and fund raisers like this to keep the doors open to this valuable community resource. Open by appointment only, Galería 200 is located at Santa Barbara #128 in Conchas Chinas. For more information, call (322) 221-5834.
More Celebrity Sightings in Riviera Nayarit
A recent visit by the winner of the sixth season of the US reality show,
The Bachelorette, Roberto Martínez Jr., and his partner, Playboy Playmate Sara Jean Underwood, who was celebrating her 30th birthday in Mexico’s Pacific Treasure, put Riviera Nayarit in the international media's spotlight once again. The news of their visit was covered in magazines such as
US Weekly and
Life & Style magazine, among others. The lovebirds enjoyed the many attractions of the Banderas Bay area at the Villa La Estancia Riviera Nayarit in Nuevo Vallarta. They indulged in a couple's massage at the Tatewari Spa, went horseback riding, and Roberto even hopped on a surf board. While here, both celebrities were very active on their Twitter accounts, where they published photographs and comments, among them a moment with a Mexican-style love serenade. These celebrity sightings serve to nurture the public relations activities the Riviera Nayarit Convention and Visitors Bureau carries out in the U.S., a natural captive market that is constantly being developed.
