Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - This month the Puerto Vallarta Tourism Department will be participating in four major events in the Romance Travel segment.

The first event, Love Mexico, will be held in Los Angeles, California on May 24th and will include wedding planners, an interactive session with invited panelists, a target display for attendees, a networking event and a promotional event for couples interested in destination weddings in Puerto Vallarta.

The second event will be in New York City and will include business meetings with wedding planners and a raffle for a honeymoon in Puerto Vallarta. Both events are planned in order to promote awareness of Puerto Vallarta as a wedding destination.

Another important event that this organization will be participating in is "The Wedding Expo," which will be held in Guadalajara, on the 28th and 29th of May. Twenty hotels will participate, and it will be the largest event in a campaign that, after three consecutive years, has been a great outreach strategy including television, radio, newspapers and newsletters to registered brides.

The Wedding Expo will sponsor the runway with a raffle and a honeymoon contest through the radio station LOVE. Focusing on promoting weddings in Guadalajara and honeymoons in Puerto Vallarta, this is undoubtedly an important event that not only covers the segment of Romance, but also the general public.

Two other events in the Romance Tourism segment will also be held this morth. The first, The Modern Bridal Show, will be held in Austin, Texas, on May 22nd at the Austin River Place Country Club. Representatives of Puerto Vallarta's Villa Premiere Hotel and Barcelo Puerto Vallarta will be there to present their properties, and to focus participants' attention on Puerto Vallarta as a wedding destination. They will hold raffles for honeymoon and family packages to the audience.

The Tourism Department will also participate in "Destination Bridal Expo," through AFWPI (Association for Wedding Professionals International) to be held in Sacramento, California, also on May 22nd.
