Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - Lace up your shoes and prepare to participate in the 3rd Annual Riviera Nayarit Half-Marathon and 10K, taking place this November 19, 2011.

Now in its third year, this popular road race travels a route designed to showcase the natural beauty of the landscapes, golf courses, marina, hotels and breathtaking ocean views of Nuevo Vallarta, in Riviera Nayarit.

Riviera Nayarit has extended invitations to national and international elite runners to participate in this event alongside our local runners and visiting tourists. There are two categories available for participants: 21k and 10k.

Registration can be completed online. The entry fee for the 21k is $450 pesos and for the 10k $400 pesos, and includes:

• Welcome lunch
• Official event t-shirt
• Commemorative medal for those who finish the race satisfactorily
• Time tracking at kilometer 10 and at the finish line
