Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - Hola! Basketball Organizer PlanBC3, LLC and the National Urea Cycle Disorders Foundation have announced pairings for the newest Men’s College Basketball tournament, the 2012 Hoops for Hope Classic in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

This inaugural event will consist of eight leading college basketball teams competing at four sites in the US, with the finals to be held and at the new state of the art Puerto Vallarta International Convention Center.

This annual event will become a staple in the college basketball pre-season tournaments.

The inaugural field will consist of the following college men’s basketball programs: University of Arkansas - Little Rock, Jacksonville University, Missouri State University, Rider University, Southern Methodist University, University of South Carolina, the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and another school to be named.

All teams will play the first two rounds of games at campus sites November 11th, 19th, and 21st with Missouri State, UALR, South Carolina and SMU serving as hosts. The final two rounds will be played in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico on November 24th and 25th. The Official Game Schedule with games and dates are listed below.

This prestigious event is sponsored by the Missouri Valley Conference and proceeds will be used to raise money for awareness, support, and research for the National Urea Cycle Disorders Foundation nucdf.org. The women's portion of the event, the Hardwood Tournament of Hope, is held exclusively in Puerto Vallarta, November 20th through 22nd. It's the Lady Bears' first international event since 2008.

Missouri State opens the three-game, three-day event against Gonzaga at 8:30 pm. Gonzaga was a 2012 NCAA Sweet 16 team.

On the 21st, the Lady Bears play either Louisville or Central Florida (time TBA.)

MSU's third game in Mexico will be on November 22nd against either Oregon State, UC Santa Barbara, Winthrop, or Mississippi State.
