Ecotours De México
"...a terrific day with Ecotours, well worth the money!"

From whale watching, dolphin and ocean wonders tours to snorkeling, scuba diving and sea kayaking trips to the Marietas Islands, we provide all of our clients with personal and professional attention to detail to ensure that every one of our expeditions is an unforgettable experience.

Whale Watching
Since ancient times, the Bay of Banderas has been an important breeding and calving ground for the north pacific humpback whale population. On this tour you'll have the opportunity to see these impressive creatures, help us with our photo-identification project and support the Humpback Whale Research and Conservation Project. Tours run every day from Dec 15-Mar 30 from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm and include ground transportation, Continental breakfast, a 3 hour boat ride with knowledgeable bilingual guides, non-alcoholic beverages, snorkeling gear, lunch at a seaside restaurant and a whale watching certificate.

Wild Dolphin Adventure
Available every Monday, Wednesday & Friday from December to April, this is a great adventure in search of wild dolphins in Banderas Bay. Guided by our Bilingual Biologists and Naturalists, this exclusive eco-tour offers excellent photographic opportunities and an up-close look at dolphin, manta ray, sea turtle and sea birds in their natural environment. Next we'll visit the ITMAR's Marine Mammal Laboratory to observe a collection of different marine mammal skeletons. Tours include: ground transportation, a 2 hour boat trip, bilingual guides, lunch, water, sodas a certificate and a donation to support the marine mammal research program.

Snorkeling Tours
Join us for an unforgettable day of snorkeling at the Marietas Islands, one of the most important wildlife sanctuaries on México's Pacific coast. You'll discover an underwater paradise where schools of tropical fish, sea turtles, dolphins and giant mantas swim among the rock formations and coral reefs. Above water, you'll see a vast colony of sea birds, such as the magnificent frigate bird, egrets, herons, pelicans and blue-footed boobies. Available year-round from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, these fabulous eco-tours include ground transportation, a 25 minute boat ride to the islands, Continental breakfast, snorkeling gear, expert naturalist guides, field guides and lunch at a seaside restaurant.

Sea Kayaking
Join our friendly staff for an incredible kayak adventure in Boca de Tomatlan and Colomitos Beach, where the azure to turquoise shades on the water contrast with the fine white sand of the beach. Marine life is abundant, and some of the species we might encounter include multicolored tropical fish of all sizes, sea turtles, manta rays and eagle rays among others. Available daily from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm, our sea kayaking tours include ground transportation, kayaking and snorkeling gear, bilingual naturalist guides and a picnic lunch on the beach.

RECOMMEND PROBLEM QUESTION
We especially chose this tour because of its "eco-ness." That is, that part of the proceeds and efforts go towards protection of the environment and the precious whales. We had a fantastic time! We saw many whales and happened upon a group of dolphins which helped make this experience memorable and unforgettable. Thanks to all that make it possible.
Robert & Eva Sorawski, Poland
My wife and me enjoyed a lot to be closeness of dolphins and other sealife like turtles, the staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. I spent a terrific day with ecotours, well worth the money!
Tim Bambrough, Kentucky
I never thought that the Marietas Island could be so special, I enjoyed the snorkeling a lot, saw the manta rays, dolphins and the tropical fish. Thanks to our guide, she was very attentive and knowleadgeable, you guys have a wonderful attitude about everything, thanks again for your sweetness!

This was a wonderful trip. Kayaking Puerto Vallarta´s beautiful coastline is something we were hoping to do this vacation and are now very pleased with the trip with Ecotour
