Pegaso Whale Watching Charters
"...fantastic and well worth the money!"

The Humpback whale has been described as the most playful and majestic of all whales. During the winter months, (December 15th through March 31st), Humpback Whales migrate to Banderas Bay to calve, mate, sing songs and play on the surface of our mild tropic waters. On Pegaso Charters' whale watching tours, our goal is to provide you with as much exposure to the whales as possible. We also look for the other life in Banderas Bay, snorkel, sail and have a great time - but the main emphasis on these tours is whale watching, excellent service and the hospitality of our crew that has become the trademark of Pegaso Chartering.

Whale Watching
Search for whales and other sea life and enjoy their frolicking and antics as you ride aboard our traditional sailing vessels to the Marietas Islands. The rich abundance of bird and sea life makes the Marietas Islands a photographers dream, or you can take a swim, go snorkeling, or simply relax and let our crew pamper you. After lunch, we head back to Puerto Vallarta and if weather conditions permit, the sails are raised as we continue in our search for whales. Daily departures from Opequimar at 8 am or from the Paradise Village Marina in Nuevo Vallarta at 9 am, returning at 4:30 pm. Continental breakfast, a deli-style lunch, snacks, and beer and soft drinks are included.

Whales & Sails
This exciting half-day whale watching trip features an excellent combination of whale watching and sailing aboard our comfortable traditional sailing vessels. The excellent service and hospitality of our crew that has become the trademark of Pegaso Chartering. Our naturalist provides interesting insights about the Puerto Vallarta area, the Bay of Banderas, and about the specific sea life you'll be seeing. Throughout your tour, you'll enjoy the delightful experience of sailing and the close harmony this brings you with the sea and with nature. Tours depart daily from 8 am-12:30 pm or 1:30-5:30 pm from Opequimar and Nuevo Vallarta, and include snacks, water, soft drinks, and beer.

Private Sailboat Charters
The luxury sailing yachts in the Pegaso fleet are also available for full and half day private charters. Discover the crystal clear waters and abundant marine life of the Bay while our professional, experienced crew pamper you with first class, personalized attention. With a capacity of up to 35 people, this is definitely the best way for groups and large families to enjoy sailing, snorkeling and seasonal whale watching trips on Banderas Bay. RECOMMEND PROBLEM QUESTION
The whale watching tour was excellent! The crew was great. Exceeded our expectations!

My self, my girlfriend and two friends went whale watching and snorkling to the Marietas for a full day aboard the Isis, and it was fantastic! We saw lots of whales and dolphins. We also saw beautiful fish and scenery at Marietas. The service was top notch! The crew was also extremly knowledgable about the marine life and the bay in general. Overall an excellent trip on the Isis that went way beyond all expectations. Even the food and beverages were excellent! If you want to be treated like royalty while exploring the bay, this is the only way to go.
Reed Joly, Minnesota
We did a tour last November 10th with our group and had the best time ever. We are coming there again on January 6th and would like to book another day trip again with the wedding group we are going with. Thanks.

Went whale watching on the Elias Mann. An exceptional trip! Saw Dolphins, and Giant Manta Rays. Then the crew put us onto a baby and mother Humpback that we watched for over an hour. I'll be back on board next time I'm in PV.

We took the Pegaso sailing tour to see the whales and go snorkeling. It was fantastic and well worth the money!

What a great day! I can't believe how many whales we saw... incredible!
Joan
We saw whales, dolphins, birds, and all kinds of tropical fish. My kids loved it, and my husband and I were really impressed by the friendly and helpful crew's extensive knowledge and exceptional service.
The Armstrongs, Ft. Worth
We toured on the Isis, and it was a great experience on board this classic ship. The crew was first rate with knowledge of the local areas we sailed to as well as the fantastic marine life. Pegaso Chartering really went the extra mile to make sure we were well looked after. For a Canadian from the prairies this was a very worth while trip.
