Mexico Did Not Leave 2014 World Cup Empty-Handed

Though the Dutch beat Mexico 2 to 1 in the knockout phase of the World Cup, Mexico did not leave empty-handed. A lot of money was doled out, as FIFA paid out $576 million USD. Even teams that lost in the first round received $8 million dollars apiece, and Germany received $35 million.

The 25th edition of the Puerto Vallarta Pro Tennis Tournament will be played from July 23 to 26 at the Sheraton Buganvilias Tennis Club. In addition to twenty-four professionals playing for a $25,000 pesos purse, there will be an amateur tournament for children and teens.

The first of 227 excited young sailors from 19 countries have arrived in Nuevo Vallarta to test the waters of Banderas Bay before the North American Regatta begins at the Vallarta Yacht Club. The championship races commence on July 12th and continue through the 16th of July.
