 IN CASE YOU ARE DETAINED
 If you are sentenced for a crime and you are facing a criminal process in jail, you have the following rights:
 Not to be discriminated by the police, judicial and penitential authorities.
 To receive visits from government employees of the consulate and your family.
 To receive legal consultancy without being conditioned and impeded
 If you are facing a criminal process and you have not been condemned, ask your lawyer or representative of the consulate, what the “agreement of guilt” is.
 Do not declare guilty without consulting with your lawyer the possibilities to win the case.
 It is important that you know the laws of the state of the American union where you live and work, since the laws for every state are different. Take into account the following information:
 If you drink, do not drive, if you do not have documents you could be arrested and deported.
 If a legal resident is stopped more than twice for driving drunk, he could be arrested.
 Do not drive without a driver license.
 Respect the traffic signs and wear the seatbelt.
 Do not drive without car insurance and do not accept to drive an unknown vehicle.
