Health Care Meeting for US Citizens in PV PVNN
A Health Care Meeting for all US citizens living in Puerto Vallarta will be held at the International Friendship Club on Sunday, March 9th at 1 pm.
Health Care is a major issue for ex-pats spending any amount of time in Puerto Vallarta. What are the options available for ex-pats? What seems to be working? What doesnt seem to be working?
These issues are the subject of a meeting at 1 pm on Sunday, March 9, 2008 at the International Friendship Club at Parian De La Fuente #13 (Upstairs) where Libertad and Miramar meet in downtown Puerto Vallarta.
A panel of knowledgeable medical resources from Puerto Vallarta and the Mexican Social Security System will share information. There will also be ample time for attendees to share their experiences.
The newly formed Costa Bandera chapter of Democrats Abroad is sponsoring the meeting, but it is designed for any US citizen concerned about their health issues here in Puerto Vallarta.
The Costa Bandera Chapter will also be presenting a resolution adopted by the executive committee, which is being sent to the National Democratic Convention asking that current Medicare policies be changed to allow out-of-country citizens to access their Medicare rights.
