blu, Puerto Vallarta's five-star salon and spa is preparing for a huge party and fashion show to be held in front of blu on Saturday, 29 November 2008. Many of you may remember blu's first anniversary party and fashion show two years ago, which made headlines under the banner "blu Goes Wild!"
This year, blu will celebrate the theme "Phase 4 Begins Now!" The celebration, open to the public, will include the requisite blue Mojitos and Margaritas, along with red or white wine, provided by Bodega de Nina, followed by yet another outrageous fashion show.
If you have always wanted to work the runway in Vallarta, now is your chance. A limited number of modeling slots are available, with the Team blu stylists dressing, doing the hair and applying the make-up of those selected to be blu models.
A Model Call will be held from 12 o'clock noon until 5 o'clock pm on Monday, November 10, 2008. Male or female models wishing to apply for a slot should bring stiletto heels (tacones) for the girls, and lots of sassy attitude, for everyone. Head shots will be taken by the salon's photographer, and they will become the property of blu.
This is an opportunity for "would-be stars" in both the Mexicano and gringo communities to be a part of this most anticipated fall event ... to kick off the 2008-2009 high season. Come join blu's Phase 4 ... which Begins Now!
