CANICA Centro de Apoyo a Ninos con Cancer A.C. is having a fund raiser this Sunday, November 15th, 2009. The goal is to raise money for a hospital in Guadalajara where children and their families can stay while the children go through treatments to cure their cancer.
As way of showing support my friends and I are going to have our heads shaved to be like our friends who have lost their hair due to their treatments for cancer. Each person is looking for sponsors to assist in raising the necessary funds. In essence, you will pay to see us have our heads shaved.
