The Puerto Vallarta Rentals Premier Vacations staff participated in a CPR and First Aid training course this past Saturday at the PVRPV office on the south side of Puerto Vallarta. In all, 26 members of the PVRPV team took part in the CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) and basic First Aid training
Dr. Alfonso Rodriguez from Clinica Intermedica, and Martin Tello and David Morales from Intermedic Emergency Medical and Ambulance Services were on hand to explain and teach these life saving tools. When CPR is performed it can double or even triple a person’s chances of survival! Staff also learned how to treat cuts and wounds, and the Heimlich maneuver for choking victims
Health issues can be a fact of life whether you are at home or on vacation, and emergencies can and do happen. PVRPV staff have been the first responders in a number of situations, and will now have some basic tools to use in the event that they are ever needed again
