Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - From November 20-24 2011, Puerto Vallarta will play host to nearly 3,000 doctors as the Mexican Cardiology Society presents its 27th Annual Congreso de Cardiologia at the city's International Convention Center.
An international event, doctors will be coming from around the world - the European Society of Cardiology has confirmed its participation, as have doctors from Spain, Argentina, USA, Canada, UK, China, France, Poland, Italy and Brazil - to share clinical, pediatric, geriatric, surgical and experimental cardiology information and presentations with their colleagues.
During their time here in Puerto Vallarta, visiting doctors will have many opportunities to experience our city's social and cultural activities. Planned events include Vallarta Adventures' Rhythms of the Night excursion, a presentation of Fandango at Teatro Vallarta and a closing-night dinner dance at the Marriott Casa Magna Resort in Marina Vallarta.
Following right on the heels of the 2nd Medical Tourism Global Forum, which is scheduled to take place August 24-26, 2011 at the CasaMagna Marriott, the 27th Annual Congreso Mexicano de Cardiologia is another great opportunity for Puerto Vallarta to boost its efforts in developing medical tourism, estimated at $100 billion worldwide each year, in the Banderas Bay region.
The cardiology conference will also further the Puerto Vallarta International Convention Center's growing reputation as the perfect place to host big events, like the upcoming 2011 Miss Mexico Pageant and the 2012 Tianguis Turistico.
