Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - To mark the upcoming inauguration of Puerto Vallarta's new Malecón, a wide variety of events have been planned for the remainder of this month to help reinstate the venue as a social gathering place for residents and visitors.

Covering a wide variety of tastes and interests, ranging from patriotic festivals and food tastings to live music and cultural activities, the fun starts this weekend with an 'Imadonari' sidewalk chalk art exhibition throughout the day on Friday, November 11th, followed by the unveiling of the Seahorse sculpture at 5:30 pm and a Malecón photo exhibition at 6 pm.

The sidewalk chalk art exhibition continues throughout the day on Saturday, November 12th. Then, starting at 7 pm, the Canaval-Batucada Xiutla will add to the Malecón's festive air, and at 9 pm, "Voices of the Sea" will be presented at Los Arcos Amphitheater, concluding the day's festivities.

As the sidewalk chalk art exhibition comes to a close on Sunday evening, the party moves to the Lighthouse stage where a Bolero and Carnival event orchestrated by the Xiutla ballet will be presented at 8 pm, wrapping up the first weekend of the month-long celebrations taking place on Puerto Vallarta's newly renovated Malecón.
