HealthCare Resources Puerto Vallarta, The US Consular Agency, the Hotel Marriott and Sharp Hospitals are proud to be hosting some very distinguished physicians as featured speakers at this year's Medical Matters Conference, including orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Alberto Marron McNaught and Mariners Insurance Mexico International Business Director, Roberto Castellaños.
Dr. Alberto Marron McNaught is originally from Morelia, Michoacan, performing his medical studies at the University of Guadalajara. He did his specialty in orthopedics at BUAP in Puebla City and is currently an orthopedic surgeon at Hospital Amerimed and IMSS Puerto Vallarta. He is a member of the College of Orthopedic Surgeons and a member of the Mexican Association of Trauma and Orthopedics.
Dr. Marron has been extremely active in the study and use of stem cells in orthopedic treatment the past few years, especially focusing on hips and knees. He is 100% bi-lingual and his known by his patients for his very gentle and friendly manner.
He will be speaking on "Stem Cells and Orthopedics" at 12 noon in Salon VI at the Medical Matters Conference on February 11, 2013. We are very proud to have Dr. Marron participate in our Speakers Program as stem cells are definitely a huge part of the future!
Roberto Castellaños is the Director of International Business for Mariners Insurance Mexico. With more than 25 years of experience in the insurance industry, Roberto has worked in various top executive level positions at insurance companies and brokerage firms at an international level in the United States and Mexico.
Based in New York, Chicago and Los Angeles, he worked with Johnson and Higgins, a worldwide insurance brokerage firm, with international insurance programs for clients that were included in the Fortune 500 list. In Mexico City, he was with the largest insurance brokerage firm in Mexico and as the nationwide commercial director for two Mexican insurance companies, AIG Mexico and BBV Probursa which is now RSA Seguros.
Castellaños belongs to a small group of brokers in Mexico that hold the highest class of insurance brokerage license (C-Class) and includes the expertise of Risk Management and Insurance programs. He also carries the Property and Casualty License in the US.
Roberto is also a volunteer and committee member for various professional and charitable organizations in the Banderas Bay area. He was born in Mexico City and now lives full time in Puerto Vallarta. We welcome Roberto to our Medical Matters Speakers Program where he will be speaking on "Health Insurance Available in Mexico" at 12:00 noon in Salon Mexico/Cozumel.
