Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico - The Westin Resort & Spa Puerto Vallarta, in collaboration with internationally renowned yogi, Wayne Krassner, is offering "Mysore" style yoga classes as part of the Westin Wellbeing Movement, a campaign designed to improve the welfare of its guests and associates.
Originally from Miami, Wayne Krassner has coached international figures like Madonna, Sylvester Stallone and Lenny Kravitz, among others, in the Mysore style in which students, at their own pace and level, practice the sequence, which is gradually learned from the first class. (The term "Mysore" refers to the Indian city bearing the same name.)
As part of the Westin Wellbeing Movement, a natural extension of the brand's historic commitment to health and wellness, the Westin Resort & Spa Puerto Vallarta has created activities that renew the body and spirit through revitalizing well-being experiences that add a breath of fresh air to the lives of associates, guests and local residents.
The Westin Wellbeing Movement was launched globally on March 20, 2014. In recent months, the Westin Puerto Vallarta has started offering SuperFoods cooking classes, walks down the main streets of Puerto Vallarta, tennis clinics, and free yoga classes on the Malecón, among many other activations related to the six pillars of the brand.
This new Yoga program will run until mid-January, Monday to Friday at 12:00 pm and 6:00 pm within the premises of the resort.
