Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - S.E.T.A.C., a local community and wellness center whose mission is to reduce HIV and other STDs in the Banderas Bay area, will soon open a satellite office on the south side of Puerto Vallarta, thanks to Timothy Real Estate Group's Fourth 'House Hunters International' charity event, which raised $334,000.00 pesos for SETAC.
Though the new office has yet to open, the ribbon was cut on February 5, 2019, so that SETAC's long-time friend and benefactor, Tom Viola, the Director of the New York-based Broadway Cares / Equity Fight AIDS organization, could be part of the ribbon cutting ceremony during his Puerto Vallarta vacation.
Located at Calle Lazaro Cardenas #379-C in Old Town, the new SETAC clinic will offer free condoms, HIV testing, medical referrals and education for HIV and other sexual transmitted illness, along with information about the free PREP program in Puerto Vallarta, supplementing the wide range of services offered at the SETAC LGBTQ Wellness & Community Center in Colonia Versalles.
This addition of this satellite office will make it easier for the LGBTQ community to get the attention and resources they need to stay healthy, thanks to Carl Timothy and his team's continuous support of S.E.T.A.C. and Puerto Vallarta's most vulnerable.
Located at Aldanaca 178 4A & 4B, in the Colonia Versalles of neighborhood of Puerto Vallarta, SETAC is a non-profit community and wellness center whose mission is to reduce HIV and other sexually transmitted infections in the greater Banderas Bay region through education, detection and prevention. Free counseling, testing, treatments and referrals for HIV and other sexual transmitted illness are just some of the free services SETAC provides to the entire population, without prejudice or discrimination.
