Herdez Agrees to Purchase Nestle Ice Cream in Mexico

Grupo Herdez has reached an agreement to acquire the Nestle ice cream business in Mexico, in a deal valued at one billion pesos that includes an ice cream plant in Lagos de Moreno, Jalisco and a long-term exclusive license to market and sell the Nestlé Ice Cream brands in Mexico.
Mexico Raises Minimum Wage for 2015 by 4.2 Percent

The Mexican minimum-wage commission last Friday determined to raise the country’s daily minimum wage by 4.2 percent — in line with current inflation — to about $70 pesos a day, less than $5 at current exchange rates. Mexico's minimum-wage is likely lowest in Latin America.
