Puerto Vallarta - Banderas Bay's favorite bakery, Pie in the Sky, recently announced that starting on April 1st, 2008 they'll be offering a new Early Morning Happy (social) Hour every Tuesday from 10 am to 12 noon.
Craving something sweet to eat or some deep, rich, full-bodied coffee? During these weekly "Happy Hours," both their Bucerias and Puerto Vallarta locations will be offering 2x1 Coffee and 20% off their new Gourmet Oatmeal Breakfast Cookies, freshly baked Oatmeal Raisin and Strawberry Cream Scones, plus Apple Turnovers.
Bring a friend for the 2x1 coffee and chat about Happy Times or use this hour to have your important meetings. You’ll begin to feel refreshed the moment you step across the threshold and into their clean, comfortable and cool, air-conditioned café, staffed by friendly and helpful employees.
You and your friend(s) can also share one of Pie in the Sky's popular Rum Raisin Carrot or Banana Nut Loaves or try the Almond Loaf with a lemon glaze on top. Of course, their famous triple chocolate "Besos," are also available for those of you who need a chocolate pick-me-up in the morning.
And while you're there you can pick up something from their frozen "Gourmet to Go" line of products: frozen gourmet chicken pies, savory chicken or cheese and spinach empanadas, individual size pizzas, or chicken pies to take home and enjoy for lunch or dinner. If you want them to bake one of their "Gourmet to Go" items, simply call them 45 minutes before you arrive.
