PJ's Comedy Club is Busting Out Exciting Comedy Shows and Box Office Hits

Laughter is great medicine for the spirit, body and mind. That's why PJ's Comedy Club is a must on your "to do" list while visiting or living in Puerto Vallarta. PJ's is the only comedy club in Puerto Vallarta who imports professional "English speaking" comedians from places such as New York, Montreal, Denver, California, and Toronto.
Currently playing at 8 pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights through February 15th, are comedians Leah Dubie and Danny Leary from New York City. So, forget the sit ups... laughter is much easier! The traveling duo put together raucous show full of unexpected scenarios and laugh-out-loud excitement.
Expect to see a bit of Joan Crawford and Patti Lupone in Leary, while Dubie brings a sarcastic likability reminiscent of Chelsea Handler. Not just your typical stand up show... after each of their sets, Dubie and Leary take the stage together for some combined improv and audience participation.
Both comedians run successful shows back in New York. Danny is the producer and host of "On the Rocks" with Danny Leary at the legendary Duplex Cabaret Theater in the West Village, while Dubie is the creator of "Dykes on Mics," a lesbian comedy show and touring group.
Each has spent the year performing all around the US and racking up TV credits along the way. Danny Leary can be seen doing comedic commentary on MTV and stars in an upcoming project for Animal Planet (as a host, not a pet,) while Leah Dubie caught face time on Tru TV's "The Smoking Gun Presents, WE's Cinematherapy and LOGO (America's premier gay network.) Both taped a comedy special for Here! TV's "Hot, Gay Comics."
Their comedy is for all walks of life. Gay, straight... or even Republican. All are welcome! It's a can't miss event with fun written all over it!
If you're in the mood for a more relaxing evening, stop by PJ's on Wednesday and Thursday nights at 7:30 pm to enjoy box-office hits such as "Gran Torino" and "Milk." If you want to Get up, Dress up and Party, "Rocky Horror Picture Show" will be playing on Saturday nights at 10:30 pm.
