Kaiser Maximilian's Espresso Bar Breakfast is Fit For a King... or a Kaiser

Meet Jesus Avalos, who has been taking care of customers with a smile for the past seven years at Kaiser Maximilian's Espresso Bar, a European-style café on the south side of Puerto Vallarta that serves up delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner just one block off the beach.
Espresso Bar Kaiser Maximilian waiter, Jesus Avalos, presents a meal to some patrons by saying, "Buenos Días Ladies, breakfast is ready, Kaiserschmarrn and Eggs Benedict, enjoy."
It's a breakfast fit for a king... or a Kaiser. The Espresso Bar, Kaiser Maximilian is a great place to start your day. And you can also get to know its famous waiter.
"I am very lucky to have Jesus on our staff," says owner Andres Rupprechter. "He is here every morning to serve you breakfast and lunch. Jesus is known by all the Americans as the "cookie boy." He worked on the beach starting at five years old and he was selling cookies and he became famous because of that and continued working until he was 12 years old to support his scholarship so he could finish high school."
Andres goes on to say, "Jesus has been working at the Espresso Bar for seven years and he is very good. My clients like him because he is friendly, very service oriented and he really likes to take care of his customers. Plus he has a lot of friends and they really like to see him when they are in town."
Jesus will serve everything just right - and breakfast is no exception. He shares some of the favorites. "This is a specialty waffle and it comes with caramelized bananas, chocolate sauce, a little whipped cream and vanilla custard, it's an excellent blend, you are going to love it," says Jesus.
He continues with an ethnic taste. "This dish is something different and you have never tried a taste like this before... it's an Austrian hotcake called Kaiserschmarrn, and it comes with sliced pieces of hotcake, topped with a berry sauce and vanilla sauce, and some raisins, the ladies really love this choice. The most popular breakfast we serve is the Salmon Eggs Benedict with poached eggs, fresh grilled salmon and topped with tarragon sauce, it is the best."
