Daiquiri Dick's Frequent Diner's Club

There are hundreds of places to eat in the Puerto Vallarta area. Two couples have found their favorite local restaurant.
"It is the best restaurant in town," says Sue London, a long-time patron, "The food is exceptional, it's consistent, everybody always has fun at Daiquiri Dick's including us."
"It's a pretty obvious choice for me," says Tomas Schmidt, a frequent diner, "Daiquiri Dick's has all the ambiance of the Bay of Banderas and without a doubt it's the best restaurant in town, a combination of fine dining and just plain good food."
Recently a special four-course lunch was served to toast the members of the Frequent Diner's Club. The Schmidt's and the London's were joined by restaurant owners Peter and Tari Bowman celebrating over 100 fabulous meals at Daiquiri Dick's. Located right on Los Muertos Beach, the restaurant has been a Puerto Vallarta land mark for almost 40 years.
Tomas says, "Anyone that comes to this city and if they know about Daiquiri Dick's and they don't try it, they've missed a major feature in the city, plus Chef Uribe is just outstanding."
The number of visits is tallied by Open Table, a computer reservation system. The restaurant is one of the diner's choice winners as one of the most booked in Puerto Vallarta, according to Open Table.
In addition, the restaurant is one of only four on the Fodor's Choice listing for the area. Daiquiri Dick's has received this honor for the last several years.
Sue goes on, "We love the people, we love the atmosphere, it's just our kind of place."
The restaurant features eclectic choices focusing on a world palate. The staff enhances the dining experience.
"The service is excellent," says Sue, "The waiters know what they are doing, they're friendly, they're capable, they're efficient and we really enjoy it."
